Headache Center

Dr. John Schneider recently completed a Pain Medicine fellowship at the Medical College of Georgia where he gained further interventional treatment experience. Dr. Schneider’s interest in Pain Management began during his medical training at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in the course of an elective rotation. Dr. Schneider then went on to complete a residency in Neurology at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics where he treated numerous patients with facial pain and headache.

With regard to headache treatment at the Headache Center, Dr. Schneider notes, “I am excited to be a part of The Pain Management Group and establish a headache clinic. I believe strongly in a multi-modal approach using medications, life style changes, and interventional techniques when needed. With the ability to perform interventional procedures, I believe more patients will benefit from treatment and get back to enjoying life.”

Dr. Schneider also has experience with numerous neuropathic pain syndromes including but not limited to various painful peripheral neuropathies, Multiple Sclerosis pain, fibromyalgia, trigeminal neuralgia, and post-herpetic neuralgia.
